Three-Dimensional Maneuver Gear and Thunder Spear, where to get them in Season 2 of Chapter 4 in Fortnite?

The latest patch of Fortnite, version 24.20, was released on April 11, bringing new features such as skins, points of interest, and new equipment. One of these new items is the famous Three-Dimensional Maneuver Gear and Thunder Spear inspired by the Attack on Titan universe. These items are required to complete certain challenges, and we will explain how to find them.

How to obtain Three-Dimensional Maneuver Gear?

To obtain Three-Dimensional Maneuver Gear in Fortnite, it is not too complicated to find. You can find them as ground loot, in chests, and in Regiment Crates.

It is important to note that this equipment allows you to grapple while in mid-air and dash towards your enemies. After attacking with the built-in blades, you will be propelled back into the air, allowing you to grapple again, glide, or perform another attack.

Where to find a Thunder Spear in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2?

If you want to complete the challenge that requires you to deal damage with Thunder Spears in Fortnite, or if you simply want to try out this new weapon, you will need to first obtain it. You can find it in any chest or on the ground, but just like the Three-Dimensional Maneuver Gear, you can also obtain it by searching Regiment Crates.

To increase your chances of finding a Regiment Crate, you can go to the Yeager Family Basement where you will always find at least one. If you're lucky, you may obtain multiple Thunder Spears in your inventory. You can also find Battalion Crates at marked locations on the map.

Where to find Scout Regiment Footlockers?

Like other types of chests in Fortnite, Scout Regiment Footlockers can be found at various random locations on the map. However, there is a specific location where you can find these rare crates in every match. If you haven't guessed it already, the new Yeager Family Basement in Anvil Square houses a Scout Regiment Footlockers in every match of Fortnite.

To access the Yeager Family Basement, you will need to go to the house located at the southeast end of Anvil Square and go down to the basement. 

It is important to note that only one Scout Regiment Footlockers appears at this location in each match. It is possible that another player may reach the location and collect the rare resources inside the crate before you arrive in the area.

For this reason, it is recommended to try to land as close as possible to Anvil Square from the Battle Bus and head directly to this guaranteed location of the Scout Regiment Footlockers.

If you miss it, don't worry, there is always the possibility of finding another one of these crates at a different location on the map.

As a reminder, it is also possible to obtain the Levi, Mikasa, and Eren skins through the collaboration between Epic Games and the Attack on Titan franchise. Many challenges and events are also available, allowing you to progress in your Battle Pass or obtain exclusive rewards! The event will end with the conclusion of Chapter 4 Season 2 in the summer of 2023.
