The season 2 of chapter 4 of Fortnite has recently started with the release of patch 24.00 on Friday, March 10, 2023. As with each new season, new challenges are offered every week to allow players to earn additional XP and complete their Battle Pass.
Among the challenges of the first week, one of them is to push back enemies with a Kinetic Blade. If you're wondering where to find this weapon, we'll explain how to get it.
To obtain a Kinetic Blade, it is possible to find it as loot from enemies, in chests, or directly on the ground. However, to save time, it is strongly recommended to use the weapon dispensers present on the map of season 2 of chapter 4. To help you recognize it, here is an image provided by Epic Games.

After getting your hands on the Kinetic Blade, you can simply use its repelling slash ability against an enemy.
The Kinetic Blade, also known as Kinetic Sword, is a melee weapon of the sword type. Its basic attack is the Repelling Strike, which consists of two quick strikes, each dealing 35 points of damage. The second strike pushes enemies back a certain distance. Enemies hit by this attack do not suffer from shockwave effects and will suffer fall damage if pushed from a considerable height.
Its second attack, the Lightning Strike, allows you to charge forward to deal 60 points of damage to your opponents. This attack has three charges and a cooldown time of 10 seconds.
Although the Shockwave Hammer was a necessary weapon to win in Fortnite, the Kinetic Blade is slow and does not inflict enough damage to be profitable. Nonetheless, it can be used as a very effective means of transportation thanks to its three Lightning Strike charges, allowing you to cover great distances quickly.
A new Rare-rarity Kinetic Blade has been added. With identical damage to the Epic Kinetic Blade, this Rare counterpart has only two Kinetic Dash charges. Rare Kinetic Blades can be found from the ground and Kinetic Blade stands.
