Luis García replaces Diego Martínez on the bench of Espanyol

The coach arrived at Espanyol a year after a successful stint at Granada CF, where he achieved great success with the Andalusian club. His place will be taken by a true legend of Espanyol. The former club striker for several seasons, Luis García, will be tasked with leading the Catalan club to maintain their position in the top flight. Luis García was previously coach of RSC Internacional FC and has no experience as a coach in LaLiga Santander. The match next Saturday against Athletic Bilbao will mark the coaching debut of a player who has already won a Copa del Rey with Espanyol.
