LEGENDS, the largest football collection in the world, opens its doors in Madrid.

It is a 4,200m2 space where 600 relics from the most important institutions in world football are exhibited, arriving at Puerta del Sol in an emotional, immersive, and technological experience.

LEGENDS, The Home of Football, presented by LaLiga, opened its doors in Madrid on June 1st. This opening positions the Spanish capital as the epicenter of world football, with the largest collection of objects in the history of this sport. A total of 600 pieces will be displayed in these 4,200m2, where visitors can also enjoy immersive and technological experiences that delve into over a century of history.

The 600 relics showcased in this collection have been used in matches by the players themselves and are endorsed by UEFA and FIFA. The pieces represent various international competitions such as the FIFA World Cup, Euro, Copa America, UEFA Champions League, Copa Libertadores, Olympics, Intercontinental Cup, Club World Cup, UEFA Europa League, women's football, and each of the major legends and national leagues, including LaLiga, among others.

Marcelo Ordás, president of LEGENDS, describes the exhibition as follows: "It is a dream come true to bring the heritage of world football to Madrid alongside the most important institutions. Legends is an unprecedented asset, and there is no better place than the global capital of football."

Óscar Mayo, executive general manager of LaLiga, states: "At LaLiga, we are proud to be part of the LEGENDS project, which marks a before and after in the world of football. We have managed to safeguard its history and make it available to the public, and we will continue to work in this direction to exhibit more and more relics in this space."

The largest exhibition dedicated to global football opens its doors in Madrid.

All these pieces are exhibited from June 1st in a seven-story building located at Carrera de San Jerónimo, 2, in the heart of Puerta del Sol in Madrid. Its 4,200m2 include a Game Area Metaverse, a football store, a 4D cinema, robotized games with augmented reality, and a room called Football Art, where visitors can digitally and technologically enjoy a moving immersive experience with state-of-the-art projections. The building is crowned by a LaLiga TwentyNine's restaurant located on the rooftop, offering a privileged view of Puerta del Sol.

LEGENDS, The Home of Football presented by LaLiga is a project supported by LEGENDS, LaLiga, and UEFA, with institutional support from FIFA, IOC, and several legends of world football. The collection includes over 5,000 objects, of which a part will be exhibited in Madrid. Over the coming years, it is expected that the rest of the relics will be displayed in new spaces that will open in other cities in Europe and the world.
