A brand new Just Dance was launched on November 22, 2022, offering an exciting range of features that we will explore together in this article. As the name suggests, Just Dance, developed by Ubisoft since the era of the Wii, is a dance game, with its first installment released in 2009.
The 2023 edition holds particular significance, introducing an entirely new dimension to Just Dance by inviting you to dive into the Danceverse. In other words, Just Dance is no longer limited to being just a game but is evolving into an on-demand dance platform. This version features 40 new songs, an online multiplayer mode, a new interface, a renewed progression and reward system, as well as a new subscription called "Just Dance +."
As mentioned earlier, Just Dance has evolved into a dance platform. Now, it is necessary to download the platform for free from the Nintendo Eshop and add the new 2023 edition to it. The latter is offered with three distinct offers:
Standard: includes Just Dance 2023 edition.
Deluxe: includes Just Dance 2023 edition and 3 months of Just Dance +.
Ultimate: includes Just Dance 2023 edition and 1 year of Just Dance +.
Prices are available on the Ubisoft website for different platforms.

A New Progression System and Rewards
Like in previous games, you can earn rewards such as avatars, backgrounds, and more by completing challenges or gaining experience. At each level, you receive a reward, with three tiers (bronze, silver, and gold), each consisting of 50 levels. This allows you to customize your dancer cards with:
45 avatars
41 backgrounds
31 frames
101 aliases
35 badges
34 emoticons
6 scores
17 celebrations
For the first time since its launch, Just Dance offers an online multiplayer mode, allowing you to play with up to 6 friends locally and online! By adding them to your group, you can compete no matter where you are, choose music together, and interact with different emoticons. Note that to play multiplayer, a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is required.
You also have the option to access over 150 new songs through the Just Dance + subscription. These songs include those from previous editions as well as new ones that will be added over time.
If you do not wish to subscribe to this service, Just Dance plans regular free updates, adding new content accessible to everyone!
