TRLCS 2024 Breaks Rocket League Online Viewership Record

The European qualification for RLCS 2024 - Major 1 in Rocket League garnered a record-breaking 413.1K Peak Viewers, surpassing all previous online tournaments except last year's RLCS World Championship. 

The final featured French teams Karmine Corp and Gentle Mates Alpine, owned by popular streamers kamet0 and Gotaga, respectively, resulting in a highly anticipated French derby. Karmine secured a victory with a score of 4:2. 

Gotaga's stream attracted 157.2K PV, while kamet0's drew 134.5K simultaneous viewers, overshadowing the official English-language broadcast with nearly 48K PV. The event not only attracted fans from Europe but also captured the attention of international viewers, setting new benchmarks for future tournaments. These statistics are a testament to the game's evolving landscape and the community's vibrant support. 

Both teams are accumulating ranking points to qualify for the European Major and compete against other regions' teams. Further European qualifiers are scheduled from February 16 to 25 and March 1 to 10.
