Patch Notes 28.30 for Fortnite's February 22, 2024 update of Chapter 5 Season 1

The saga continues in Fortnite's Chapter 5 Season 1, bringing a slew of new features and changes to the game! This requires a maintenance period, followed by the download of the update once it's ready.

This week in Fortnite, a multitude of new features awaits you. Here's the update content:

New Game Mode: Time Trial

The all-new Time Trial game mode invites you to set the best possible time on variations of your favorite tracks, such as Riviera, Anaconda, and Olympus. Each game has a countdown timer of several minutes, giving you plenty of time to complete multiple laps ("rounds") and create your perfect route to the finish line!

A ghost accompanies you to show your exact driving during your best round of the game. Correct errors to gain precious seconds on your best time. You can participate in Time Trial in both public and private matches, without fear of player collisions, as this feature is disabled.

New Electric Quests     

With the arrival of the Time Trial mode, new electric quests are now available. By completing the first quest at the launch of Time Trial, you'll unlock the new Sprintspark trail! Complete other quests to unlock 13 different colors for the Sprintspark trail.

The launch quests for Time Trial will be accessible until March 26, 2024, at 5 am in France.

New Cosmetics

The shop is filled with new cosmetics, including the Lady Gaga skin, and the Xenosplash turbo, offering over 13 different colors. This turbo can be matched with the Lustrum X10 wheels, which also make their debut in Fortnite. These wheels are available in the shop via the Lustrum X10 wheel pack, including the wheels and 12 different paint colors. Finally, a new pack named Diestro is also available, including:
