PGL plans to expand, hosting three annual Dota tournaments worldwide

PGL: Eight $1M Dota 2 Tournaments in 3 Years

PGL, a top esports organizer, has just unveiled their epic Dota 2 tournament roadmap! Get ready for eight thrilling LAN events spanning 2024 to 2026, each packing a massive $1 million prize pool punch. The action kicks off in May 2024 in Bucharest, Romania. 

Following the success of their past events like the Kiev Major 2017 and PGL Arlington Major 2022, which were huge hits among Dota 2 fans, PGL is now planning to team up with other organizations to bring even more thrilling tournaments to the scene. 

They're keeping the locations for these new tournaments a secret for now, but here's what we do know: PGL is aiming to hold three tournaments each year in 2025 and 2026. These tournaments are scheduled for March, April, and November. The first one, called PGL Wallachia, is going down in May 2024 at PGL Studios in Bucharest, Romania.
