Leaks had predicted it, but the confirmation is now official: Fortnite is welcoming Avatar, the Last Airbender, but with a surprising twist. In reality, it is The Legend of Korra, the sequel series, that is making its way into the game. Initially planned as a 12-episode miniseries, its success led Nickelodeon to extend the program, thus extending the total number of episodes to 52 spread across 4 distinct seasons.
In addition to a skin available in the battle pass, rumors suggest that new mythical weapons will be introduced in Fortnite. The possibility of mastering water, fire, air, and earth in the Battle Royale would therefore become a near reality.
While expectations were focused on Aang, Toph, or even Katara, it is Korra who makes a notable entry into Fortnite! This revelation was made in the trailer for Season 2 of Chapter 5, titled "Myths & Mortals," focusing on Greek mythology. Thus, Avatar, the Last Airbender, makes its appearance in the Battle Royale.
Following the triumph of the live-action adaptation on Netflix, with the announcement of new seasons and even a movie, Avatar is experiencing a prosperous period! In the game, players will have access to mythical weapons allowing them to master the four elements, a skin available in the battle pass, as well as surprises to discover!
At the moment, no information regarding Aang and his companions has been unveiled, but it is likely that the Avatar will make his entrance into Fortnite later, being the iconic figure of the franchise. Additional revelations are likely to emerge in the coming weeks.
