
1. Can you tell us about your journey into professional Valorant, from your beginnings in BEEX and LOGOBI GGtoyour current team NASR Ignite?
I started Valorant playing 2 years ago, because CS:GO was kinda dead for female scene so I wanted find something new, that is why I joined LOGOBI GG through a friend that I met in CS:GO “Minaya” which led me to my first team in Valorant after that we joined BEEX.
2. What is the story behind your in-game alias "Looxie"?
Please don’t laugh at it… When I was young I was thinking about a cool name so I ended up with Dixie, which I thought was very cool until people started shorting it and calling me silly names, I took my Surname and merged it into “Looxie”.
3. As a female player in a male-dominated industry, what challenges have you faced, and how have you overcome them?
First challenges that I faced were in CS:GO, where people started telling me that I will not be good enough for a pro, even some of my close friends. So I decided that nobody can tell me how good or bad I am, and I kept grinding and never gave up. It is all mindset and hard work!
4. What are your thoughts on the recent 5th/6th place finish in the Game Changer tournament in March? What did your team learn from that experience?
It is a similar result that we had last Game Changer, so we didn’t step down, but we also didn’t step up. We learned that we need to learn to play more together.
5. How do you balance individual skill improvement with team synergy and coordination?
This is exactly what we are doing and learning in our practices.
6. What role do you primarily play within NASR Ignite, and how do you adapt your playstyle to fit the team's needs?
I am a Flex player, that means I need to play different roles and need to be ready to change a role to fit the team’s composition and needs.
7. What aspects of your gameplay do you feel you excel at, and what areas are you actively working to improve?
I am very cold blooded in very intense situations. I also have a good mindset when it comes to motivating my teammates. And I am working on my game sense and flexibility on the agents.
8. Can you share any strategies or tactics that you and your team have developed to gain an edge in competitive matches?
We have a good understanding of every map, so we keep our game plan very simple with clear ideas and good adaptation, and the rest is secret…
9. How important do you think representation and diversity are in esports, and what steps can the industry take to foster more inclusivity?
I took more visibility for Game Changer should be a good start.
10. How do you approach streaming on Twitch, and what do you enjoy most about interacting with your viewers?
I love creating a connection with viewers, we share a lot of laughs about myself, about my whiff (silly mistakes within the game), about highlights and this is what I enjoy, sharing the moments!
11. Can you share any memorable moments or highlights from your streaming career so far?
I fell off my chair… And yes there is still a clip of it. This happened 3-4 years ago. I also played horror games which were funny to watch as I got scared a lot.
12. What are your thoughts on the current state of Valorant esports, and where do you see it heading in the future?
The current state is amazing, you can see how many people are playing or watching tournaments, so I think it can only grow bigger.
13. Who are your biggest influences or inspirations within the esports community, both as players and as individuals?
It was juliano and mimi back in CS:GO. I was young and new to the game, so I was watching them and going like:”ahhh they are sooo good!”
14. How do you maintain a healthy work-life balance while pursuing a career in professional gaming?
Actually till recently it was not healthy. I was working, streaming and playing, so I didn’t have any time for family or friends. Pursuing your dreams you have to make sacrifices sometimes. But it got better now, as I am full time playing and practicing now.
15. What do you enjoy most about competing in live LAN events, and how does it differ from online competitions?
I love LAN events for seeing my teammates offline and creating even stronger connections. But I also enjoy Online events as I feel strong in my “bubble”.
16. How do you prepare mentally and emotionally for high-pressure matches or tournaments?
I have 3 steps: I eat, I sing very loud and I breathe after!
17. What do you think sets Valorant apart from other FPS titles, and why do you enjoy playing it competitively?
I love Valorant, cause it was similar to CS:GO but more about the teamplay and more complex for me, and I love challenges!
18. How do you stay motivated during times of adversity or when facing setbacks in your gaming career?
I have an incredible mum who is watching and supporting every game. And I am really competitive so I want to win.
19. How do you handle criticism, whether it's from fans, teammates, or analysts?
I listen to feedback and improve from it.
