How to Unlock Face Accessories in Final Fantasy 14 Dawntrail

The next expansion of Final Fantasy 14, titled Dawntrail, is highly anticipated by players as it will introduce two new classes and many other new features. Dawntrail has been available in early access since June 28, ahead of its official launch on July 2.

As with any expansion release, new additions are part of the program. Among them are face accessories. Here’s how to unlock and equip them, whether from the inventory or via an in-game command.

If, like many players, you are wondering how to obtain face accessories (or facewear) in Final Fantasy 14 Dawntrail, you simply need to speak to a specific NPC named the Consigneur. You can find him at the following coordinates:

• (11.4, 14.4)

• (10, 8.4)

• (12.6, 13.1)

When speaking to him, select the “Exchange Glasses” option, and all your face accessories that can be converted will automatically be transformed. To equip them, go to your character menu, then select Face Accessory to choose the one you are interested in.

You can also equip them using a command in the chat window: /faceaccessory, /faccessory, or /facewear followed by the name of the accessory. For example: /faceaccessory "oval glasses", as illustrated in the patch notes.

We remind you that the Dawntrail expansion will officially release on July 2. However, players who pre-ordered this DLC have early access since June 28. As always, some players might encounter connection issues to Final Fantasy 14 due to queue times.
