In gratitude for her assistance, N'Zoth severed her ties to the dagger, fully liberating her.

In Dragonflight, following the defeat of the Chrono-Lord Deios during the Dawn of Infinity, Xal'Atah seized the opportunity. The Primordial Incarnate Iridikron used an artifact to absorb the essence of Galakrond, the mightiest of dragons, and Xal'Atah attempted to corrupt Void elves, including Alleria, who will play a crucial role in the new expansion.
