Day of Doom: the New Mode in Fortnite

Fortnite continues to evolve with regular updates, and Chapter 5, Season 4 is no exception. Among the new features introduced on Tuesday, September 17th, the "Day of Doom" game mode has captured players' attention. Inspired by superhero battles from the Marvel universe, here’s everything you need to know about this new mode.

How to Play Day of Doom Mode

To access Day of Doom, simply go to Fortnite’s main screen, where you will find this mode listed among the official game modes.

What is Day of Doom Mode?

In this competitive mode, 32 players are split into two teams of 16. Doom’s Henchmen face off against the Avengers in an epic battle.

• Doom’s Henchmen: The objective for Doom’s Henchmen is to collect six Arcane Artifacts to prevent the opposing team from respawning. Once all enemies are eliminated, victory is yours.
• Avengers: The goal of the Avengers is to defeat Doom’s forces before they manage to collect the Artifacts. Doom’s Henchmen can respawn several times, and you’ll need to deplete all of their respawns to secure the win.

Fatal Showdown is a limited-time mode, so make sure to enjoy it before it disappears!
