FNCS 2024: Fortnite's Biggest Esports Revival in 5 Years 

The FNCS 2024 Global Championship shattered expectations, marking a major resurgence in Fortnite esports. With a staggering 809,800 peak viewers, the tournament set multiple records, becoming the most-watched Fortnite event in the past five years. This revival of excitement was driven by high-level competition, featuring the top 50 duos from around the world. Peterbot and Pollo from team Exceed took the championship title, dominating the event with a 200-point lead. 

Organized by BLAST, renowned for managing premier esports tournaments, the FNCS 2024 drew more eyes than ever, especially with YouTube viewership doubling and Twitch breaking its previous records. Language-specific streams, such as Vietnamese and Danish, also saw record numbers. Despite a dip in French viewership due to the absence of popular streamer Gotaga, other language streams like Portuguese and German experienced growth. 

This renewed energy in Fortnite esports solidifies the game’s staying power, with the FNCS 2024 surpassing previous milestones. The FNCS series continues to attract large audiences, positioning Fortnite as a prominent force in the esports world once again.
