British Esports Launches PUBG Mobile College Tournament

British Esports has teamed up with PUBG Mobile Esports to launch the PUBG MOBILE FE College Tournament 2024, open to UK students aged 16 and above. Starting on October 8 and concluding the week of November 12, the tournament will feature up to 16 teams competing across 12 maps. The top team will earn a chance to showcase their skills at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) finals in London from December 6- 8.

This initiative emphasizes the growing significance of mobile gaming in esports, reflecting the trend of expanding opportunities for students. Participating teams will not only compete for the championship but also engage in a showmatch against popular content creators, enhancing visibility for young players.

Tom Dore, Vice President of British Esports, expressed excitement about this groundbreaking mobile tournament, highlighting its role in collaboration with industry leaders like Tencent. As the esports landscape in the UK evolves, this tournament aims to inspire aspiring players, paving the way for progression from amateur to professional levels. The PMGC finals promise to be a major event, showcasing the talents of the next generation in the dynamic world of esports.
