Arcane: Who is Isha or Baby Jinx, a Future Champion in LoL?

Isha is a young mute orphan living in the underbelly of Zaun. She first appears in episode 2 of season 2, titled Watch It All Burn, as she desperately tries to escape a group of thugs in the city's tunnels. During her flight, Isha crosses paths with Jinx, who saves her from the Chem-barons Chross and Smeech, who were chasing her. From that moment, the young girl begins to follow Jinx, admiring her as an idol.

Quickly, Isha forms a strong bond with Jinx, who becomes a sort of mentor to her. Their relationship mirrors that between Silco and Jinx in season 1, with Jinx this time taking on the role of a protective figure. Despite Jinx being one of the most dangerous criminals in the city, Isha has no hesitation in following her and putting herself in danger to protect her. In episode 3, she even intervenes between Vi and Jinx, risking her life to save her new mentor.

Though mute, Isha plays an important role in the dynamics between the characters. Her presence seems to remind Jinx of her past as Powder and adds a new dimension to Jinx’s character by showing her in a protective role. The relationship between Isha and Jinx is highlighted in the song Isha's Song by Eason Chan, which is part of the season 2 soundtrack. The music video for this song shows scenes of Jinx and Isha running together through the city, as well as Isha with blue hair hugging Jinx.

At present, Isha is an original character created specifically for Arcane. She does not exist in League of Legends. However, some fans speculate that she could secretly be an existing champion like Teemo or Janna. A popular theory suggests that Isha might be Janna, the protective goddess of Zaun, due to the meaning of her name ("goddess" or "the protector") and her protective role toward Jinx.

The ending of episode 6 of season 2 leaves doubt about Isha’s fate. In a dramatic scene, she seems to sacrifice herself to save Jinx from an enraged Vander. While her fate remains uncertain, several clues suggest that her death might be permanent, including the lyrics of Isha's Song and the dark tone of the music video associated with it.
