To perform a Ledge Jump, start by sprinting toward the edge of a raised structure, such as a building or cliff. Just before reaching the edge, press the jump button. Your character will automatically perform a propelled jump, allowing you to cover a greater distance. However, it’s important to have enough stamina to sprint; otherwise, the Ledge Jump won’t work.
The Ledge Jump offers several tactical advantages. First, it allows you to reach previously unreachable areas in a single jump, offering increased range. To make the most of the Ledge Jump, it’s recommended to combine it with other movement techniques. For example, you can chain a Ledge Jump with a landing roll for maximum mobility and reduced fall damage. Using the Wall Bounce after a Ledge Jump also allows you to reach even higher heights. Alternating between the Ledge Jump and Wall Rush allows you to navigate urban environments quickly and fluidly.
The introduction of the Ledge Jump also changes gameplay strategies. Fights can now take place across multiple vertical levels with unprecedented fluidity, adding an increased vertical dimension to encounters. Certain areas of the map, once difficult to access, are now more easily reachable, making exploration easier. Additionally, this technique offers new options for engaging or escaping combat, depending on the situation.
