Team Secret and Team Whales unite for LCP domination in 2025

Team Secret, a top European esports org, has teamed up with Vietnam's Team Whales for the League of Legends Championship Pacific (LCP), a new high-level competitive league designed for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. 

This partnership combines Team Secret's international expertise with Team Whales' local insights, aiming to create a strong and dynamic team for the LCP, which will feature teams from Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macao, Japan, Oceania, and Southeast Asia. 

The LCP is set to begin in 2025 and will consist of eight teams, including four partner organizations and four guest slots. Along with Secret Whales, other teams in the league include CTBC Flying Oyster, Fukuoka HAWKS Gaming, and PSG Talon. 

John Yao, CEO of Team Secret, emphasized the significance of the partnership, stating that the joint venture aims to dominate the LCP and inspire the broader League of Legends community in the APAC region. The partnership will also focus on uniting their fanbases and nurturing emerging talent within the LCP ecosystem.
