Kingdom Come: Deliverance II – An Ambitious Roadmap for 2025

Released on February 4, 2025, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II immerses players in a realistic medieval Bohemia, where they take on the role of Henry, a young blacksmith caught in a quest for vengeance and survival. While the main adventure already offers dozens of hours of gameplay, Warhorse Studios has no intention of stopping there.

Starting in Spring 2025, a free update will expand the experience. Among the additions are a barber allowing players to change Henry’s appearance, a hardcore mode for those seeking a greater challenge, and horse races to diversify available activities. While these additions are secondary, they will contribute to making the world even more immersive and dynamic.

Beyond free updates, the roadmap unveils three paid DLCs that will expand Kingdom Come: Deliverance II’s story and introduce new gameplay mechanics.

"Brushes with Death" (Summer 2025)

This first DLC will take Henry on an adventure alongside an artist with a mysterious past. Between perilous encounters and dangerous intrigues, players will have to unravel a complex story where art and crime intertwine. This expansion promises to introduce new characters and moral dilemmas that will challenge the protagonist’s integrity.

"Legacy of the Forge" (Autumn 2025)

The second DLC will explore Henry’s roots by shedding light on the history of his adoptive father, Martin. Players will have the opportunity to restore a once-renowned forge, likely the one where Martin worked. This expansion will introduce a deeper crafting system, with new customization options for weapons and armor. It is also possible that new revelations about Henry’s past will emerge, adding a more personal dimension to his journey.

"Mysteria Ecclesiae" (Winter 2025)

The final DLC of the year will thrust Henry into a secret mission within the Sedlec Monastery. This expansion will highlight religious tensions and the mysteries surrounding a strange illness threatening the region. Players will have to navigate political intrigues and medical investigations to uncover the truth behind this looming threat. This DLC may also delve deeper into the game’s spiritual aspect, showcasing the beliefs and practices of the medieval era.

These three DLCs will be included in the Expansion Pass, available with the Gold Edition of the game. Players looking to extend their immersion in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will thus have access to rich narrative content and new gameplay mechanics.
