
The first edition of Kings League France, imagined by Gerard Piqué, kicked off on Sunday, April 6, and will run until May 25, 2025. This 7-a-side football tournament features eight teams led by sports and streaming personalities, with a unique format and weekly showtime. Regular Season: April 6 – May 5, with matches every Sunday
Playoffs: May 8 – May 25, to crown the very first champion
The top four teams qualify for the Kings World Cup, scheduled for June in France
All matches are streamed live on Twitch and M6+, with heavy interaction between streamers, team presidents, and the audience.

The teams were formed via a draft on March 24, with over 80 players involved. Each team can also add up to three Wildcard players throughout the competition.
Two 20-minute halves per match
In the second half, each coach can play a secret card (e.g. double goals, free penalty), making every game unpredictable
The top 2 teams go straight to the semifinals
Teams ranked 3rd to 5th face off in the quarterfinals
Teams ranked 6th and 7th play a play-in match for the final playoff spot
The Grand Final is on Sunday, May 25, with the trophy on the line
