From qualifiers to finals, PGS promises fierce, global competition

The PUBG Global Series (PGS) 7 and 8 are two of the most anticipated esports tournaments in the 2025 competitive season. Kicking things off in Shanghai, China, these tourneys bring a massive $300,000 prize pool plus crucial PGS Points—key for climbing the rankings and locking in a spot at the Global Championship later this year. 

PGS 7 will run from April 28 to May 4, followed by PGS 8 from May 12 to 18. Both tournaments follow a similar format: a Group Stage, where 24 teams are split into three groups, followed by a Final Stage. The Group Stage consists of three days with six matches per day, with the top 16 teams progressing to the Final Stage. After three intense days of competition, the team with the highest score across 18 matches will be crowned the champion. 

The 2025 season includes 10 Global Partner teams, such as Gen.G, NAVI, and The Expendables, along with 14 teams that have qualified through regional qualifiers. These qualifiers, including the PUBG Americas Series and PUBG EMEA Series, guarantee diverse, top-tier competition.
