Fortnite is going all out for May the Fourth and the launch of its Galactic Battle season with an epic collab: the first two episodes of the animated series Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld are available directly in-game, in a world premiere—even before they hit Disney+. It’s a first of its kind, and a must-watch if you're a fan of the galaxy far, far away.
Thanks to the massive partnership between Disney and Epic Games in 2025, Fortnite is becoming more than just a battle royale—it’s now a fully interactive streaming platform. To celebrate, you can watch the debut of the series focused on Asajj Ventress and Cad Bane in a virtual movie theater… with bonus gameplay and exclusive rewards.
It’s super easy to join. If you haven’t already, download Fortnite (it’s free), log in, and look for the Star Wars Watch Party Island from the main menu. You can also search for it by name or enter the island code provided by Epic. Access opens on May 2 at 4 PM (CET), and the episodes remain available for 48 hours, until their official release on Disney+.
Once on the island, you'll see a welcome cinematic before entering the screening room—a massive Star Wars-themed theater where everyone sits together like a real movie experience. Don’t worry if you join late—the screening restarts with each new player, so you won’t miss a thing.
But this isn’t just Netflix inside Fortnite. You can explore the island, take on challenges, fight Stormtroopers, wield lightsabers, collect coins for XP, and chill in spots like the Cantina while watching the episodes. Bonus: if you watch both episodes, you’ll earn an exclusive loading screen featuring Asajj Ventress, available until May 11. And if you link your Epic account to MyDisney, you’ll unlock a free First Order Stormtrooper outfit.
All of this is part of a month-long Star Wars celebration in Fortnite, with a themed Battle Pass, crazy skins like Dark Jar Jar Binks (yes, seriously), pilotable X-Wings and TIE Fighters, and a huge final event centered around sabotaging the Death Star.
