Marvel Rivals Championship Season 2: intense battles, global stage, epic esports showdown 

The Marvel Rivals Championship (MRC) Season 2: Hellfire Gala is set to ignite the esports scene from June 7 to July 6, 2025, across four regions: Americas, EMEA, Pacific, and China. With a $14,500 prize pool per region, the tournament invites both seasoned pros and ambitious newcomers to compete. 

The competition kicks off with a Swiss System format, advancing the top 128 teams to a double-elimination bracket. Teams ranked from 129th to 512th will compete in a closed qualifier on June 14–15, playing up to 10 matches. Those who succeed will advance to the double-elimination stage running from June 21 to July 6. Early rounds will be best-of-three, increasing to best-of-five matches between rounds 10 and 14, with both the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final played as best-of-seven series. 

Participation requires a minimum rank of Platinum III and a six-player faction. Notable teams like Virtus.pro and Sentinels are expected to return, but the open format ensures fresh talent can shine.
