The ultimate global championship tournament

Riot Games has officially announced that the 2025 League of Legends Championship Pacific (LCP) Season Finals Weekend will take place in Da Nang, Vietnam, this September. The event marks the culmination of the LCP's inaugural year, featuring a prize pool of $80,000 and the crowning of its first-ever champion. 

Eight teams are set to clash in an epic showdown, four partnered orgs (CTBC Flying Oyster, Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS, GAM Esports, and PSG Talon) and four guest teams (Chiefs Esports Club, DetonatioN FocusMe, Secret Whales, and Vikings Esports). They’ll be split into Contender and Breakout Groups based on their Mid Season performance. 

The format? A single round-robin into a Group Breaker stage, then a double-elimination playoff bracket. Top three teams punch their ticket to Worlds 2025. 

Matches will follow the Fearless Draft format, so expect more diverse champ picks and strategic depth. While we’re still waiting on exact dates and venues, the Finals Weekend in Da Nang is already shaping up to be a major highlight of the esports year.
