Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3: Where to Find and What the Suitcase of Patience Is For

The Suitcase of Patience is one of the strangest items in this Chapter 6 Season 3 of Fortnite. Unlike what we’re used to seeing in the game, it requires… time. And a lot of calm.

To find it, you need to head to a small, discreet building northeast of Foxy Floodgate, not far from Burd To Go and Utopia City. It’s a secluded house, fairly easy to spot once you know where to look. Inside, the infamous suitcase is waiting for you, sitting there almost like a trap.

But this isn’t your typical chest. Forget the quick few seconds to open it. Here, to unlock it, you literally have to remain completely still for a full 10 minutes. Without taking any damage. Without fighting back. And if someone attacks you or you move, you’ll have to start all over again. Needless to say, this isn’t a challenge to take lightly. You need to find the right moment, hide well, hope no one passes by, and cross your fingers.

And once the 10 minutes are up, what do you get? No guarantees. The contents are random: epic weapons, healing items, gold, resources… Nothing groundbreaking, and certainly nothing that’s worth ten minutes of waiting in the middle of a match. You can’t even break the suitcase to grab the loot — it simply disappears.

So, is it really worth trying? Honestly, not necessarily. It’s not a great move in terms of efficiency or strategy. But it is a fun little challenge, a curiosity. Something to try at least once, for fun or for the novelty. That’s probably what Epic Games was aiming for with this addition: to break the rhythm, to offer something a bit absurd in a game that moves at lightning speed. Some will see it as a clever nod, others as a useless gimmick.
