To start, head over to the Mutation Cell, located right next to the egg vendor in the main village. This is where everything happens. But be careful, only pets that have reached at least level 50 can be modified. So you’ll need to take good care of them, feed them, have them participate in garden activities, and above all, be patient.
Once the required level is reached, simply interact with the machine by pressing the E key, then select the pet to transform. Mutation is expensive—about 500 million coins (or the equivalent in Robux for those who want to speed things up). The process usually takes an hour but can be accelerated with premium currency. At the end, your companion comes out with a new look… and sometimes entirely new abilities.
Each mutation grants a unique effect: some only change the appearance, others modify gameplay. Your pet can become giant, tiny, golden, rainbow-colored, or even be covered in lightning or light. These transformations have impressive visual impacts: auras, bright colors, electric effects, floating or glowing pets, or pets that change size. Plenty of ways to fully customize your garden and make your companions unforgettable.
But beyond style, some mutations are real strategic assets. A Radiant pet will boost your plants’ growth, a Shocked pet will favor fruit mutations during storms, and an Ascended pet will increase your chances of finding rare fruits… These bonuses can improve your yields, speed up progression, or increase your income.
Here’s an overview of the available mutations (with their effects, appearance, and rarity):
Mega: enormous size, faster XP gain – 6.43%
Tiny: tiny size, slows hunger – 6.43%
Golden: +10% passive bonus, golden effect – 6.43%
Rainbow: +20% passive bonus, rainbow fusion – 3.22%
Radiant: plant growth boost, glowing pet – 3.22%
Shocked: attracts lightning, shocked fruits – 3.22%
IronSkin: recovers stolen fruits, metallic effect – 3.22%
Ascended: chance of fruit mutation, special glowing effect – 0.32%
Some mutations are rare, or even exclusive to seasonal events. They are therefore as sought-after as they are valuable, both for their usefulness and their unique style.
