The August 2025 Battlefield 6 beta clearly established a meta built around four well-defined classes: Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon. Each brings unique skills, gadgets, and specializations, making team coordination essential.

Assault – Designed for fast pushes and objective captures, this class focuses on mobility and a balanced loadout of assault rifles combining power and fire rate. Its signature gadget, the Adrenaline Injector, grants temporary resistance to explosions and flash effects, along with a speed boost. Specializations like Grenadier (more explosives and faster reloads) or Frontline (better regeneration and faster healing) strengthen its ability to hold the front line. Its active ability, the MK2 Stimulant, temporarily reveals nearby enemies, enabling coordinated attacks.

Engineer – Specializing in neutralizing enemy vehicles, the Engineer uses fast-firing SMGs and tools to either repair allies or damage armor. Essential on vehicle-heavy maps, this class blends mobility with gadgets to support teammates while locking down key areas.

Support – Armed with light machine guns, the Support provides constant suppressive fire and supplies ammo to the team. Its ability to hold strategic positions while fending off attackers makes it vital for stabilizing the frontline. Specializations boost durability and sustained combat effectiveness, making the role indispensable in attrition battles.

Recon – Going beyond the traditional sniper role, Recon blends stealth and spotting. Its motion sensor gadget, along with precision rifles optimized for stability and reload speed, allows it to mark and harass enemies from afar. It can specialize in long-range shooting or discreet infiltration. Its active ability, the UAV drone, delivers crucial intel on enemy positions, giving the team a strong strategic edge.
