Battlefield 6: Best Class and Attachments to Dominate with the P18

The Battlefield 6 beta has highlighted one weapon that stands out above the rest: the P18. Since it’s available by default across all classes, it quickly became the number one choice thanks to its stability, accuracy, and effectiveness in close-range duels. If you want to get the most out of it, customization is the key.

The customization system is based on 100 points, and each attachment comes at a cost. The most effective setup for the P18 is: a Standard Suppressor (20), a Fin 99 mm Barrel (20), a 17-Round Magazine (5), Full Metal Jacket Rounds (5), and a Mini Flex 1x Sight (10). The result is a discreet, stable, and versatile weapon, perfect for short- and mid-range fights.

As for classes, adapt your playstyle around the P18:

  • Assault: faster sprint-to-fire transition, and with smoke grenades you can rush and surprise enemies.

  • Engineer: pair the P18 with your anti-vehicle arsenal, ideal for finishing off opponents inside buildings.

  • Support: great for securing kills while focusing on revives and mobility.

  • Recon: the perfect partner for stealth eliminations, especially when combined with beacons or C4.

No matter the class, always keep a smoke grenade handy—it’s the best tool to cover a push, block enemy sightlines, and gain the upper hand in close encounters.

For now, the beta meta clearly favors versatile classes. The P18 works well as a reliable backup but can also shine as a primary weapon in close combat. The best approach is to test multiple setups depending on the maps and modes, then adjust your sens and attachments to match your playstyle.
