Fnatic blazes first EMEA path to VALORANT Champions Paris 2025

Fnatic has secured its spot at the 2025 VALORANT Champions in Paris, becoming the first team from the EMEA region to qualify. Their decisive 2-0 victory over Apeks in the VCT EMEA Stage 2 group stage solidified their position, with wins on Bind (13-5) and Lotus (13-10). 

This qualification is a testament to Fnatic's resilience after a challenging start to the season. Despite finishing 5th/6th at the Kickoff event, the team bounced back, clinching the Stage 1 title and securing a runner-up finish at Masters Toronto. Their consistent performance throughout the season has positioned them as one of the top contenders for the VCT Stage 2 trophy. 

Fnatic's in-game leader, Jake 'Boaster' Howlett, continues his impressive streak, having never missed a Champions event in his career, though he is yet to secure a championship title.  

With Fnatic's qualification, attention now turns to the remaining EMEA teams vying for a spot in Paris. The top two teams from Stage 2 and one from the Championship Points leaderboard will join Fnatic, with the final placements to be determined in the upcoming playoffs.
