When and Where is the Next Fortnite World Cup, and How to Watch It?

The Fortnite World Cup 2025 – also known as the Fortnite Global Championship – will take place on September 6-7, 2025, at the LDLC Arena in Lyon, France. Over two action-packed days, the world’s top 33 trios will battle it out for a $2,000,000 prize pool in a brand-new, trio-only format.

Tickets went on sale earlier this summer and are selling quickly, with prices ranging from €74.50 to €102 for the best seats. Expect an electric atmosphere filled with competition, on-site activities, and community meet-ups. For those who can’t make the trip, the entire event will be streamed for free on Fortnite’s official Twitch and YouTube channels, as well as on Fortnite.com/competition. Exclusive drops will be available to viewers who link their Epic Games account to their streaming platform before the event.

Viewing parties are also planned across France in gaming bars and partner venues, giving fans a chance to experience the competition together. This edition is a historic one: it’s the first time France will host the Fortnite World Cup and the first time the tournament will be played entirely in a trio format.
