Fortnite World Cup 2025: How to Qualify for the Global Event

Securing a spot at the Fortnite World Cup 2025 is no easy feat — players must go through a highly competitive qualification process based entirely on the FNCS and regional Majors. It’s the ultimate challenge for trios hoping to compete on the grand stage at Lyon’s LDLC Arena.

The competitive season is built around three major regional tournaments (Majors) held across all key regions: Europe, NA Central, NA West, Asia, Oceania, the Middle East, and Brazil. Each Major begins with Divisional Cups and Play-ins, followed by Group Stages and capped off with a Regional Final. Teams earn points throughout the season, and after the third Major, the best trios in each region secure their spot at the World Cup.

In total, 33 trios will qualify: 11 from Europe, 7 from NA Central, 3 from NA West, 3 from Asia, 3 from the Middle East, 3 from Brazil, and 3 from Oceania.

For those who narrowly miss out, there’s still hope — the Last Chance Qualifier provides one final opportunity to make it to the World Cup, usually held in late July or early August, just before the Major 3 Regional Final.

In 2025, the schedule was packed: Major 3 qualifiers took place in mid-July, Group Stages on July 20, 26, and 27, the Last Chance Qualifier on July 31, and the Major 3 Regional Final on August 2-3. Once these stages wrapped up, Epic Games revealed the official list of 33 qualified trios for the World Cup.
