Team Falcons rise strong, Team Spirit falls—Dota 2’s road to TI25

Team Falcons delivered a stunning performance at FISSURE Universe: Episode 6, sweeping Team Spirit 3–0 in the grand final. This victory marks a decisive turnaround for Team Falcons, who had suffered a loss to Team Spirit in the Esports World Cup just a month prior.

Their dominant display demonstrated a refined strategy and synergy, signaling serious contention for The International 2025.

The tournament drew impressive attention, with peak viewership surpassing 256,000 concurrent viewers and totaling nearly six million hours watched. Notably, the grand final outshone other matches, highlighting the growing fan engagement in Dota 2 esports. Across the season, DreamLeague Season 25 remains the only event to exceed 20 million hours watched, but FISSURE Universe’s final stop clearly confirmed its relevance in the competitive calendar.

As TI 2025 approaches in Hamburg, Germany, the scene has been shaken by the withdrawal of Gaimin Gladiators, reportedly due to internal roster conflicts.

Yakutou Brothers has been confirmed as their replacement, introducing a new variable ahead of the $2+ million prize pool showdown.
