Rising League stars fight fiercely in Asia Invitational 2025

Riot Games is launching the League of Legends Asia Invitational 2025 (ASI 2025) — a fresh chance for strong Asian teams that just missed out on Worlds to compete on an international stage.

Running from October 6 to 12, 2025, the tournament will be held online, hosted by Huya, Douyu, and Bilibili. With eight teams participating, it features three from the LCK and LPL each, and two from the LCP — specifically those that placed just outside Worlds qualification.

The format kicks off with a best-of-three round-robin group stage, where the top two in each group advance. From October 10 to 12, a double-elimination bracket will decide the champion with each non-final match Bo3 and the grand final as a Bo5.

The total prize pool is ¥1,500,000 CNY (~US$210,000–215,000), distributed with 40% to the winner and smaller shares down to 5th–8th places.

So far, Nongshim RedForce is confirmed from the LCK. In the LPL, EDward Gaming and Ninjas in Pyjamas are expected attendees. From the LCP, GAM Esports and MGN Vikings complete the lineup.

While not featuring the top-tier Worlds teams, ASI 2025 promises high-level clashes and more exposure for talent hovering just beneath the global elite.
