League of Legends: The Worlds are back!
But first, get in the mood with the Worlds 2025 trailer.
The World Championship returns to China, from October 14 to November 9. And everything suggests this edition is going to be spectacular. The Worlds will take place in three stages: the Play-Ins (October 14), the Swiss Stage (October 15–25), and the Final Stage (October 28–November 9). All of it hosted across three cities: Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu.
Play-Ins (BO5) – Beijing
On October 14, T1 and Invictus Gaming will kick off the competition in a fearless draft match. Only one team will advance to the Swiss Stage, while the other will be eliminated.
Swiss Stage (BO1 & BO3) – Beijing
From October 15 to 25, it’s time for the Swiss Stage, a format that rewards consistency.
Teams face off based on their results: win versus win, loss versus loss, until they reach three of either.
Three wins = you move on. Three losses = you go home.
Add to that the fearless draft, where a champion already played can’t be picked again in the next series... We’ll see who can really adapt!
Final Stage (BO5) – Shanghai and Chengdu
Eight teams. Intense best-of-five series. No lower bracket, no second chances — win or go home.
Where to watch the Worlds?
All matches will be broadcast live on Twitch, YouTube, and on Riot Games’ official channels.
So get ready: the most anticipated show in the world of esports is about to begin!
