A completely unexpected collaboration could be landing very soon in Fortnite, and it’s a big one: South Park. Well-known leaker SamLeakss stated on X (formerly Twitter) that the partnership between Epic Games and the cult series created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone would arrive “very soon.” According to him, the information was confirmed by an internal source at Paramount, which holds the broadcasting rights for South Park.
Nothing has been officially confirmed by Epic Games yet, but the rumor is gaining traction. Several insiders are mentioning the possible arrival of the four iconic characters: Cartman, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny. Although the images circulating on Reddit are currently only fan concepts, the idea of such a crossover seems believable, especially after the recent The Simpsons collab, which already proved that Fortnite is not afraid to touch classic TV licenses.
For now, no official image has been released, but some dataminers have discovered code lines referencing “SP_Event” files, which could easily stand for “South Park.” This kind of hint often comes shortly before an official teaser or announcement. And knowing Epic Games’ release rhythm, a debut before the end of 2025 seems likely. Many are even betting on a release right after Fortnitemares, Fortnite’s annual Halloween event.
One of the most intriguing aspects is how Fortnite will manage to integrate such a satirical and provocative universe into its world. The show, known for its dark humor and sharp social commentary, strongly contrasts with the more accessible tone of the battle royale. It’s therefore unlikely that the event will feature the show’s most explicit themes. Instead, Epic might focus on the parodic and humorous side, keeping the cartoon style and iconic catchphrases while toning down the content to remain PG-13.
