From challengers to contenders: BBL PCIFIC reach the big stage

BBL PCIFIC finally made history — locking in a spot at VCT EMEA for the first time after a dominant VCT Ascension EMEA 2025 run. The Turkish-based roster, led by Ali “Crewen” Sargin, turned years of grind into glory, achieving what Crewen said they’d “been dreaming of all year.” Joining ahead of the 2025 Challengers season, Crewen helped steer the team to the top with clutch, composed performances. 

BBL came out swinging — going unbeaten in groups (taking down FOKUS and Twisted Minds) before taking the grand final over Italy’s DNSTY 3–1. After dropping Lotus, they roared back to claim Abyss, Sunset, and Corrode, fueled by Umut “lovers rock” Pekdoğan’s explosive ACS spikes in playoffs. 

But beyond the firepower, it’s the team’s culture that sets them apart. Crewen highlights honest comms, a true family-like bond, and the steady leadership of coach Mert “KEY” Çelebi as the backbone of their success. With patch 11.08 bringing meta shifts and Sentinel nerfs, the squad remains unfazed. Their next goal? Proving they belong in tier one.
