Six giants clash in Chengdu — the road to glory begins

The stage is set for the IEM Chengdu 2025 playoffs as six elite teams remain in the fight for the $300,000 prize pool and a crucial confidence boost ahead of the upcoming StarLadder Budapest Major. After two days of intense group-stage action, Team Falcons, MOUZ, Astralis, FURIA, Team Vitality, and The MongolZ have secured their places in the knockout rounds. 

Team Falcons and MOUZ earned direct qualification to the semi-finals after flawless runs in Groups A and B respectively. Falcons dominated with clean 2-0 sweeps over TYLOO, Team Spirit, and Astralis, while MOUZ proved its consistency by defeating FaZe Clan, Vitality, and FURIA. 

The quarter-finals will see Astralis face Team Vitality in a classic European clash, while FURIA takes on The MongolZ, who shocked fans by eliminating Team Spirit. With rising stars like m0NESY and kyousuke leading Falcons, and MOUZ continuing its top-tier streak, Chengdu promises world-class Counter-Strike action.
