Harry Potter in Fortnite? Everything You Need to Know About the Leak

A magical storm is brewing in the world of Fortnite. For several days now, rumors have been swirling about a collaboration between Epic Games and Warner Bros. for a crossover with the Harry Potter universe. Dataminers have already discovered mysterious files named “WIZARD” and “HPW,” and the clues keep piling up. If this turns out to be true, the upcoming season could be one of the most iconic in the game’s history.

Everything suggests that Chapter 7 of Fortnite, expected to launch in early December 2025, will feature a full collaboration with the wizarding world. Multiple sources mention the arrival of skins for Harry, Hermione, and Ron, along with mythical items such as the magic wand, the Quidditch broom, and even the Sorting Hat. Some even claim a new map location inspired by Hogwarts is on the way, which would plunge Fortnite into a true fantasy atmosphere.

This collaboration is causing such a stir because it unites two cultural giants. On one side, the Harry Potter universe gathers millions of fans around the world, nostalgic for their first steps at Hogwarts. On the other, Fortnite keeps expanding its multiverse with ever-wilder collaborations, from Star Wars to Marvel to Dragon Ball. This time, the match seems perfect: the magical theme could bring entirely new gameplay, with spellcasting, broom flying, and wizard duels in special arenas.

Beyond the visuals, this crossover could have a real impact on the gameplay experience. Epic Games has already proven they can turn events into global phenomena, and adding Hogwarts as a new POI (Point of Interest) on the map would be a masterstroke. Players could expect dedicated quests, Hogwarts house–inspired challenges, and even a temporary progression system to unlock magical items. The idea of joining a house—Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, or Ravenclaw—and taking part in themed trials would excite plenty of fans.

Of course, none of this is confirmed yet. Neither Epic Games nor Warner Bros. has made any official statement. Rumors suggest an announcement could arrive in the coming weeks, possibly through a trailer released at the end of Chapter 6. Until then, the community is buzzing—caught between excitement and skepticism. Some Harry Potter fans fear the collab will only offer a few shop cosmetics, while others dream of a true magical experience, similar to what we’ve seen with LEGO mode or the Star Wars crossover.
