Fortnite’s Twitch Drops are back with the same simple and effective system. To earn these free rewards, all you have to do is link your Epic Games account to your Twitch account and watch a partnered Fortnite stream during the event. Eligible creators will display the “Drops Enabled” tag on their livestreams. After a few hours of watch time, you can claim both rewards directly from your Twitch inventory, then find them in your Fortnite locker the next time you log in.
The first reward is a new Kang & Kodos skin, faithfully recreating their appearance from The Simpsons. The two aliens, always plotting Earth’s invasion from their spaceship, keep their classic look, green skin, tentacles, space helmets, and mischievous grins. Their arrival in Fortnite fits perfectly with the wild crossover theme of the current season, which introduced Springfield Amusement Park and other iconic Simpsons locations to the island.
The second reward is an exclusive glider, also inspired by the intergalactic duo. It features a hovering UFO above the player, with glowing purple and green effects reminiscent of the Treehouse of Horror Halloween episodes. This cosmetic will not be available in the item shop, it’s reserved only for players who participate in the Twitch Drops during the event window.
These free rewards show Epic Games’ ongoing effort to strengthen the bond between players, streamers, and the Fortnite community. Twitch Drops encourage fans to engage with content creators while earning exclusive cosmetics, a strategy successfully used in past collaborations with Marvel, Star Wars, and Dragon Ball.
However, be careful: this drop campaign is temporary. According to Epic Games, the event will run during the first week of Season 5, and once it ends, the rewards will no longer be obtainable. If you want to secure Kang and Kodos, make sure your accounts are linked before the campaign starts and tune in to a partnered stream as soon as the event goes live.
