If you want to shine in your first games on Black Ops 7, you need to know which weapons truly dominate the meta. The game offers over thirty guns, but only a handful really stand out and give you a real edge in duels. Here’s the current tier list of the weapons that get the job done and that you absolutely need to try.
In Tier S, you’ll find the monsters of the moment: M15 MOD 0, Dravec 45, Peacekeeper Mk1, Akita, Shadow SK, AK-27, Ryden 45K, and M10 Breacher. These are the ones defining the meta right now, with the best mix of damage, stability, and range.
Right below, Tier A is still extremely solid with reliable picks like MXR-17, DS20 Mirage, Razor 9mm, X9 Maverick, VS Recon, M8A1, MPC-25, RK-9, Echo 12, MK.78, Warden 308, and XM325. They perform really well, but sometimes lack that extra something to compete with the very top.
Tier B is limited to the XR-3 Ion and A.R.C M1, while Tier C includes much more situational weapons such as the Carbon 57, M34 Novaline, or AAROW 109.
If we talk pure meta, the M15 MOD 0 remains a safe pick: stable, accurate, and strong at long range, making it the perfect assault rifle if you want to perform without overthinking. The Dravec 45 focuses on mobility and fire rate. If you play aggressively, you’ll love it, especially since it can even stand up to some assault rifles in mid-range fights. The Peacekeeper Mk1 performs amazingly in close combat and mid-range, making it super comfortable on fast-paced maps. The AK-27 and MXR-17 are perfect if you want to combine damage and precision while feeling real progression as you upgrade them. And if you play aggressive sniper, the Shadow SK is a gem: mobile, lethal, reliable.
The Black Ops 7 meta will inevitably shift with patches and future balancing updates. If you want to keep your edge, check updates regularly and keep an eye on community feedback. Staying up to date is what will let you dominate for a long time and avoid getting stuck with a nerfed weapon without warning.
