The Undertaker is the Strength/Faith character who never lets you breathe in Elden Ring Nightreign. She hits like a truck with her sacred mace, self-buffs with incantations, and her ultimate can literally erase a boss if the team chains things properly. The goal here is to give you a simple, effective build and the right habits to fully enjoy her synergy with allies and her signature relics.
You’ll invest mainly in Strength and Faith. Strength boosts the physical damage of your hammer or morning star, and Faith amps up all your holy buffs and powers up your ultimate. Take a heavy weapon that staggers well, infused with Holy or Lightning, and keep a seal to cast your incantations. A shield can help in a pinch, but the Undertaker thrives on mobility, so lighten your load to roll comfortably.
In combat, everything revolves around three things: your buffs, your passive that copies allied ultimates, and your line-shaped ultimate that melts everything. Before any major fight, buff your weapon or resistances, then activate your trance to enjoy the speed and dodge boost. Once you’re in the action, stay glued to the enemy, look for staggers, and set up your positioning.
The most important moment is when an ally fires off their ultimate: your passive gives you a free one right after. Coordinate with your team, unleash yours instantly, and angle it slightly to hit as many targets as possible or aim straight for the boss’s weak point. When everything lines up, you delete health bars in seconds.
For relics, focus on those that increase damage after an ultimate, boost Strength/Faith, or extend the duration of your buffs. The Monocle Case and the Glass Necklace are perfect: they increase your physical damage while buffed, extend your spells, and speed up your ultimate. Exactly what you want for a character who lives in constant aggression.
For teammates, pick people who trigger ultimates frequently or apply useful debuffs: the Scholar for exposing weaknesses, the Duchess for multiplying burst windows, or a Buccaneer to secure staggers.
