To open the Blue Portal secret rooms in ARC Raiders, you first need to locate their entrances, then solve small puzzles while under enemy pressure. Nothing too crazy, but these spots are heavily contested because they drop rare loot, so you’d better know what you’re walking into.
The game has two truly “official” secret rooms known by the whole community: one in the Ancient Fort, the other in Raiders’ Refuge. In both cases, you’ll find a large metal door that can’t be opened without activating what the game requires: either power cells or switches. Beyond that, the map is filled with smaller secondary access points bunkers, basements, locked stashes all working on the same logic: find the entrance, secure the area, solve the mechanism, grab the loot.
In the Ancient Fort, the secret room is hidden behind a heavy door in the main structure. To open it, you must find three fuel cells and insert them into the generators around the door. The cells spawn semi-randomly but are often placed on metal plates, in upper floors, or along walkways. Once all three are slotted in, power flows and the room opens, rewarding you with purple/orange loot.
In Raiders’ Refuge, it’s the same idea but without fuel cells: this access unlocks through four switches scattered across the buildings and technical areas of the refuge. You need to activate all of them in the same match for the door to open. It’s a heavily camped spot, so always scan your surroundings before exposing yourself many players wait for someone else to do all the work and then steal the reward.
To optimize your runs, never rush blindly. These two areas attract tons of players, so approach from the edges, study sightlines, and clear high ground first. Make sure you’ve got enough ammo and gear that can hold up, or you’ll get wiped before even finding the first cell.
And most importantly, mentally note (or screenshot) the possible fuel cell and switch spawn spots. Even if the exact location changes, they rotate through the same areas.
