How to Easily Defeat the Bombardier in ARC Raiders

You can spot the Bombardier fairly easily thanks to its two Watchers, flying drones that constantly circle around it and lock onto you with lasers. You’ll usually encounter it at the Spaceport, in Buried City, or during certain events like the Hidden Bunker, where it can respawn very quickly. Avoid wide open areas at all costs: its missiles arc through the air and deal massive area damage, even if you think you’re safely behind cover.

When it comes to gear, anti-armor weapons are key. The Anvil does the job extremely well and is easy to obtain, while the Hullbreaker, sold for 30,000 credits at the armorer, is a reliable option. Explosives are devastating against it. A well-placed Pack Charge or Delayed Mine can literally delete the Bombardier in one go. Decoy grenades or smoke grenades are also very useful for distracting the Watchers. In co-op, a Concussion Grenade can stun it and expose its back; solo players should slow things down and lean heavily into stealth.

To really deal damage, focus on the yellow joints on its legs. Destroying them will knock the Bombardier to the ground, exposing its rear battery, which is its main weak point. Its central core also becomes visible through gaps in the armor. Always take out the Watchers first, even though they respawn quickly, then position yourself inside a solid building to block incoming missiles. Once the Bombardier is down, empty a magazine into the battery with a Torrent or another heavy weapon, and the fight ends very fast.

When destroyed, it drops ARC Alloy, which is essential for crafting and certain quests, as well as ARC Energy Cells to recharge your shield. If you’re aiming for three-star challenges, hunt it while rotating alongside Bastions and Rocketeers, and always secure your extraction afterward. Dodge with rolls, use Wolfpack Grenades against groups, and take advantage of its inertia by forcing it to crash into a wall.
