ARC Raiders: Where to Find the Aphelion Weapon Blueprint

The most reliable way to get the blueprint is by defeating the Matriarch. This massive event boss appears during Blue Gate events on several maps, including Stella Montis. Once defeated, she drops a core container that can contain the Aphelion blueprint. Be warned though: only one player can loot it, which often turns the end of the fight into a frantic race against other Raiders.

In a squad, the best approach is to focus on her weak points, especially the joints and the heart when it’s exposed, using anti-armor weapons. Solo players need to be much more careful, relying on traps, constant movement, and good anticipation to survive her large AoE attacks. The good news is that since patch 1.7.0, drop rates have been increased, making repeated farming far more viable than before.

If you’re looking for an option that’s less dependent on events, the blueprint can also drop in certain locked rooms on Stella Montis. The most well-known location is the Medical Research sector on the west side of the map. This is a high-risk red zone packed with Pops, Bolides, and Shredders. Before entering, you’ll need the Stella Montis Medical Warehouse Key, which can be found by searching trash bins, desks, or lockers in nearby buildings.

Once you have the key, enter on the ground floor, loot every container you can find, including drawers and cabinets, then extract as quickly as possible. The area is a real PvP hotspot, so staying stealthy is critical. Smoke grenades and suppressed weapons make a huge difference when it comes to avoiding ambushes.

Once you finally have the blueprint, all that’s left is crafting it at a level 3 Armorer. You’ll need 1 Matriarch Reactor, 3 Magnetic Accelerators, and 3 Complex Weapon Parts. These components are rare and usually found in legendary containers or dropped by bosses, which makes Stella Montis and ARC events your best farming spots.
