Future champions rise as Rainbow Six Siege Challenger Series begins

Ubisoft has officially launched the 2026 Rainbow Six Siege X Challenger Series, marking the return of the second tier of competition within the game’s expanding esports ecosystem. Designed as a pathway for emerging talent, the Challenger Series allows amateur teams to compete for qualification spots in their respective regional leagues.

All squads welcome - no matter your rank - from Europe, the Americas, APAC, and Oceania. The competition is open to teams of all skill levels across Europe, the Americas, Asia Pacific, and Oceania. Open qualifiers will run from February 21 to March 1, using a single elimination, best of one format. Top performing teams from each region will progress to the second phase of the tournament.

Phase 2 features 16 teams playing in a Swiss format, so teams face others with similar results each round. This keeps matches fair and competitive. At the end, the top 8 teams qualify for the Challenger Series Finals, happening March 12–15.

The finals will use a single elimination format to determine the champion. Teams reaching this stage will earn automatic qualification for their regional leagues, running across both halves of the 2026 season. The 2026 Challenger Series marks the second edition of Ubisoft’s revamped tier two structure.
