From group stage to finals, Vitality never lost momentum

Team Vitality secured its first Counter-Strike 2 title of 2026 with a 3-1 victory over FURIA in the grand final of IEM Kraków. Played in front of a packed crowd at Tauron Arena Kraków, the best-of-five series lasted more than four hours and marked the first major LAN final of the season.

Vitality came into the playoffs as a top team after crushing the group stage. They got a direct spot in the semifinals thanks to 2-0 wins over BC.G, 3DMAX, and Aurora. In the semifinals, they kept up the hype by sweeping MOUZ and making it to the final.

In the final, FURIA got the first win on Mirage, but Vitality bounced back hard on Inferno. They kept the pressure on in Nuke and finished the series on Overpass to take the championship.

Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut was the MVP, making big plays when it mattered most and keeping his team ahead throughout the tournament.

This win comes after Vitality was already recognized at the HLTV Awards 2025 and shows they’re still dominating in Poland, proving they’re one of the top Counter-Strike teams in the world to start 2026.
